Katy, as predicted looks amazing as an extra terrestrial and I just can't get this song out of my head.Nike SB Blazer Hi Black/Varsity Purple

Julian Chang - Stictly Black: Fashion Week Recap
The past couple of weeks have been really stressful for me as I've been on a superman mission to cover every event and interview as many artist as possible to get more exposure as a brand.... What I have recently been reminded of is that I never post enough of the High Fashion Events I attend. So startingJulian Chang
“Style is not based on brand names, labels or latest season’s must have, style is within yourself. My collections will bring you an effortless look that is outlined with your own style by mixing timeless, comfortable pieces that will always be relevant to your wardrobe. Miami’s lifestyle is my inspiration, so I mix glamour, with sexiness and confidence.” Julian was born in Lima Peru raised in a multicultural environment with Latin-Chinese heritage. At the age of 17, he moved to Miami Florida where he attended Miami International University of Art & Design. Shortly afterwards he created a small evening collection under his own label “Julian Chang” and his designs were on their way to the wardrobes of Miami’s Elite. He opened his first showroom on Miami’s Upper East Side on 2003, and followed in Miami Beach and South Miami soon afterwards. He launched his Contemporary Women’s collection in 2008, selling now to over 2000 boutiques across the globe. Britney Spears tour is coming to Miami on July 22, 2011
Britney Spears Miami Concert – July 22, 2011 Britney Spears just released her album Femme Fatale and has now announced a 25+ city North American tour. And of course, Miami is on the tour schedule. Britney Spear’s Miami concert date is July 22nd at the American Airlines Arena. Miami’s own Enrique Iglesias was scheduled to be a part of the tour, but those claims were premature as Enrique never finalized the agreement (aka he didn’t want to look like Britney’s bitch and open for her). Either way, tickets should be on sale fairly soon, you can the American Airlines Arena at 786-777-1000 or visit their site aaarena.com. Jazz In The Gardens
For the last six years, the gorgeous city of Miami Gardens has hosted a two day "Grown Folks Music " festival. Known to the general public as 'Jazz In The Gardens', this show has gained national attention through Michael Baisden's syndicated radio program. Hosted on March 19-20,2011 by DJ Irie, Prince Markie D, Michael Baisden and his comedic sidekick George Wilborn, the show was well organized and never dull. Housed at the Sun Life Stadium ,this outdoor festival often rings in a sunny first two days of spring. With artists such as Boyz II Men, Mary J.Blige, Erykah Badu,Melanie Fiona, & the late Teena Marie as previous performers, the show has proved itself to bring a classic vibe while welcoming newcomers into the festival with open arms. The 2011 lineup included local Reggae/Soul band Jahfe, the legendary Al Jarreau, Head of State ( Bobby Brown , Ralph Tresvant, Johnny Gill), Charlie Wilson, and R&B songstress Lauryn Hill, and that was only day one! Day two welcomed Lalah Hathaway, Sy Smith Branford Marsalis, Musiq Solchild, En Vogue, Gladys Knight and a reunited Isley Brothers duet. The party was a nonstop reminder of a different type of r&b, "the romantic r&b" said Gladys Knight before covering 2010 guests Boyz II Men's 'End of the Road'. During the show; vendors of southern, latin and caribbean food provided the smells and taste to accompany the sounds. While old school classics like Frankie Beverly & Maze's 'Cant Let You Go' rang through the speakers, the crowd gathered in the aisles to dance while waiting for the next act to hit the stage. Although JIG is a celebration, the festival is actually a two day health initiative for the African American community. The mayor of Miami Gardens presented a short speech bringing to light disparaging Cancer statistics while raising funds for the Relay for Life. This is my second year in attendance and I recommend that you come along next year to enjoy some classic music and positive energy while surrounded by people who really came to have fun. Be sure to check out www.jazzinthegardens.com for info on next year's event! Meanwhile, Fashionnerd will keep you entertained!
XLARGE x Vans ‘Speckled’ Era & New Era Cap
In celebration of their 20th anniversary, streetwear brand XLarge has collaborated with giants Vans and New Era to produce a pair of dotted multi-colored Era sneakers and a matching LA Dodgers fitted cap. They're little painful to look at at moments, yet totally worth the money in my opinion. Both pieces are available now at XLarge retailers in Asia.
The Force is Strong with Adidas (sneaker recap)
Can only one ray of light save the universe?.....well depends if the person wielding the ray wears Adidas. The almighty force is with the three striped one again here's a preview of the forthcoming Star Wars Adidas footwear range due for release through out this year. The collection is broken into two parts the ‘Select Pack' and the 'Direct Pack'. The 'Select Pack' is closely modeled on characters from the original 1977 20th Century Fox film franchise that stared Alec Guinness as Obi Wan Kenobi and Harrison Ford as Han Solo and the ‘Direct Pack' fuses the Star Wars universe with this eras modern Pop and Sports icons. Does that mean you can expect Micheal Jordan wielding a light saber design fat chance, does that mean Micheal Jackson and Lady Gaga will be dressed up as Jedis fighting Darth Bieber I highly doubt that too; but you can look forward to some amazing designs. Highlights include a AT-AT Pilot El Dorado with a jumbo tongue similar to the Jeremy Scott Mickeys; a vividly detailed Skyline with the urban skyline replaced by an illustration of the Imperial planet Coruscant; and a deathly dark ZX-8000 with crackling energy beams on the midsole representing Emperor Palpatine. There's also a nod to the Imperial Guard, a rasta Boba Fett mash up, plus some Ewing inspired Storm Trooper ballers.Wiz Khalifa " Rolling Paper Review"
Seems like when it comes down to being Americas next favorite stoner the Legends of Mr. Rager might become a long boring myth, move over Kid Cudi and welcome Wiz Khalifa, the 23-year-old Pittsburgh native who scorched every music chart he touched this past winter with his single “Black and Yellow” as it dominated radio waves and became the Steelers’ fight song during their run to the Super Bowl to bad they lost.Unknown to many new Khalifa fans this will be his third album, yes he has released other albums before he just wasn't as big and famous as he is now,. Ehh was the album what i expected it to be? yes it was the only exception for me would have to be "Black and Yellow" besides that the whole album is a celebration of his new fame, money, and simply having a good time. Now if your a big time Wiz fan you know the good times usually involves sitting down in the cut rolling dubbies up, as the album’s title "Rolling Papers" would indicate, so if your not into the stoning habits like millions of Americans are I wouldn't suggest this album and no it's not as deep and heart felt as Kid Cudi's "Man on the Moon". The album is very relate able though when it comes to a down to earth type of message. I wont discredit the man he does tackle other topics like break-ups and outside pressures with a big brother to younger sibling approach; but he does boast about the fame glamor and women. On the track “On My Level” which features Oakley, California rap legend Too Short, Wiz pretty much talks about hows hes on this new level or higher plain of being since becoming a star so he does go through the Diddy-Ego eccentric phase on the album, but I don't blame I know I also would boast about my hard earned accomplishments. Wiz is living a life many up and coming rappers hope to obtain one day in there careers. Rolling Papers is a chilled out, laid-back home run. The only big f up is “Top Floor,” man that producer needs to get fired like ASAP beat had like way to much going on it was just a giant big mess but besides that I like the album now is it worth buying? its good but not that good I'd wait till someone offers to buy for me but hey thats just my personal opinion I still like the dude at the end of the day.'R.E.D.' Album 'Best' Album of 2011?
Maybe he was better off with G-Unit. The Game's latest album upcoming "The R.E.D." has been delayed numerous times on many occasions and still has no set release date (probably hes following in his mentors the great Dr.Dre footsteps), but the California rapper says he isn't faded by the albums ongoing mishaps. In fact, he feels he's still "one of the last artists that really cares about hip-hop, when compared to upcoming artist such as Soulja Boy, Waka Flaka, and so forth and so on. The butterfly tattooed artist continues on saying "I just think that every now and then in hip hop, there's a dead space so we need some substance,I think that I just might be one of the last artists that really cares about hip hop and not rap, not the culture, not poppin' bottles, not the cars, chains, broads, I just actually care about nurturing and giving back to this sort of foundation on which I grew up on, which is real hip-hop. I'm I the only person who find this statement very funny coming from him. While Aftermath/Interscope figures out the album's street date, Game continues to release music via the internet to hold his fans off. He recently released mixtapes "Purp & Patron" and "The Hangover,". "I think that Purp & Patron has done a good job of sort of calming my fans, giving them something that they could just run with," he says. As for "R.E.D.," which stands for the rededication, Game says it's "20 times better than the mixtape. The last year and a half, I've taken my time. R.E.D. is sort of my baby and I want to make sure that I water my seeds and I lay the foundation for R.E.D. with my mixtapes." The album features production from Pharrell, who is executive producer on the set, as well as Dr. Dre. Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, Lupe Fiasco, Snoop Dogg, Robin Thicke, Beanie Sigel, Rick Ross and Jay Electronica make guest appearances so far. "The 'R.E.D.' album is going to remind everybody of what hip-hop is supposed to be in its prime, the 'R.E.D.' album will be the best album this year hands down. There's nobody putting out an album this year that will even be able to compete with the skill level-- the bar is gonna be set after this album drops. I guarantee it now from start to finish." well we shall see.Death Cab for Cutie
Death Cab For Cutie's upcoming seventh studio album, "Codes and Keys," has been touted as a keyboard-heavy departure from 2008's guitar-driven "Narrow Stairs" an experimental thread of what to expect from the band album's will be aired on the first single, "You Are A Tourist." As announced earlier tuesday morning, DCFC will film while simultaneously airing a live, scripted, one-take music video for "You Are A Tourist." Directed by Tim Nackashi (Radiohead, OK Go). The video announcement is a big welcomed surprise to allot fans seeing as they just premiered the song earlier Monday. Death Cab For Cutie bassist Nick Harmer revealed to Billboard.com earlier this year that "Codes and Keys," out May 31 on Atlantic Records (same recored label that up held Lupe Fiascos much anticipated "Lasers" album) , features a lot of "great, weird, analog synths, and we have a string section on a couple songs." Cant wait till April to see the video. Please Oh Please, More Summer Heart
With electronic craze on the rise, countless acts have face planted whilst attempting to take the basic facets of the genre and make them their own. Luckily, Blackbird Blackbird has gifted us with the glorious achievement that is Summer Heart. Although the album doesn't possess any ceiling-shattering bass drops or catchy hooks like the house and electronica we have grown to love, it carries a constant breeziness that makes Summer Heart light and refreshing in comparison to hard, heavy-hitting house such as Deadmau5 or Designer Drugs- perfect for, you guessed it, the rapidly approaching heat of the summer season. The tracks are simple, sweet, and delicate; highlighting the wistful nature Blackbird Blackbird has come to be categorized by. The perfect backdrop for anything under the sun, literally. Curious? Check out Kings!Diet Coke by Karl Lagerfeld Collection
Coca-Cola is welcoming another collaboration in their extended project of artful Diet Coke bottles, this time working with fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld. They're releasing three new designs of this limited edition collection, each inspired by Diet Coke heroines Bernadette, Eleanor and Irene. The bottles are coming in polka dot, swirl, and star designs, respectively representing each heroine. Lagerfeld shot the collection's advertising campaign featuring Coco Rocha, Heidi Mount and Jeneil Williams. The release date is set for June 2011, coming in a special collector box set or individually.
