The Latin street festival features 23 blocks with activities for all ages. KidzZone with four blocks of entertainment for kids, including clowns, fun foods, magicians, sports teams and merchandise for mom’s needs. Streets dancers and strolling musicians interact with the walking public in the Parranda Zone. Hundreds of kiosks of international foods line the way on both the north and south of Southwest Eighth Street in addition to sampling areas where companies provide free products to the public. Also features top recording artists and groups from the Hispanic entertainment world performing at dozens of musical stages set at every intersection; Southwest Eighth Street, Little Havana:
Winn-Dixie Kids Zone at Calle Ocho: Features live cooking demonstrations by Chef Pepin of Spanish-speaking TV, interactive games, samples, special giveaways, face painting, kids’ activities and special appearances by Kool-Aid Man and Mr. Oreo; noon-5 p.m. Sunday, March 13; Southwest Eighth Street and SW 25th Avenue at the El Dorado parking site, Little Havana.
