Odd Future have gone and dropped their trailer for their sketch shown Loiter Crew. This is after the rather hilarious outtakes that have been floating around YouTube the past couple of days. The show is being hosted by Adult-Swim, and features most of Odd Future's crew (although strangely no Left Brain) and is predicted to be a success. It is already getting comparisons to Jackass, but whether or not their crazy personalities shine through or not is another question. Here's the trailer - Will you guys be watching? Mass Effect 3 is set to hit the shelves on March 6. The game has been hyped by consumers and critics alike for months now. My, my, my...how far gaming has come. I'll let the trailer do the talking. It's unreal. Truly...unreal.Dappy - Rockstar (feat. Brian May)
Here's something a little different for you FN readers. For those of you unfamiliar with Dappy, he is the frontman of rather popular UK hip-hop trio N-Dubz. He's recently started a solo career, and this second solo single features the one and only Brian May of Queen fame. The song itself is a pretty safe pop/rap mixture, with a hefty guitar solo from the legend May towards the end. The EP was released on British iTunes the Monday just gone, and should be heading worldwide fairly soon! Here's the video - What do you guys think? Let us know in the comments!iPocketwatch
The digital era of watches is not gonna come to halt with the advent of smartphones and tablets. Steve Jobs himself started the trend of using gadgets as your dedicated time telling device. The result of which is the popular iPod Nano that is worn with on the wrist with a dedicated accessory or strap to hold the device along with its built in clock interface. The whole concept has now taken off and Australian designer by the name of Edwin Conan took the entire thing in a different direction. Instead of wearing the iPod Nano on the wrist, he went further back in time, by allowing us to wear it as a pocket watch. The snapshot shown is a prototype of what is to become the iPocketwatch. Conan had set a goal to raise around $6,385 USD to kick start this new concept. Currently, the fund raiser is already halfway through. If you would like to make a donation, head on to the Pozible to learn more about it. We hope to see this new concept become a reality, and judging from the way the fund raiser is going, we will... Jennifer Toole: Paradise Island Photoshoot
Jennifer Toole, a brilliantly enthusiastic photographer making noise in the past few weeks, recently released an exclusive photoshoot entitled "Paradise Island". The recent project, shot in the sunny Bahamas, features supermodel Kali'i Dixon in a multitude of different poses. Toole Photography is a new company that offers photo services to both the Toronto and New York City areas. Jennifer, the owner of the firm, infuses all of her subjects with feelings of self-assurance. She calls her work both "feel-good" and "photography first", a combination that seems to be the perfect recipe for a wonderful photoshoot. Check out some of the highlights from the recent photoshoot, and stop by the Toole Photography website for additional projects!Jimmy Kimmel parodies almost every movie in "Movie: The Movie" Trailer
In his post-Oscar show last night, Jimmy Kimmel live raised the bar in spoof trailers with his 9 minute video starrring basically every big actor in Hollywood. Featuring a little bit of everything, the video is too good for me to go in depth and spoil. Imagine how fun this must be making a piece like this? Tons of great actors, making fools of themselves, in a fake trailer. What else can you ask for?Hodgy Beats - Untitled EP
Odd Future's Hodgy Beat's has just dropped a free untitled 9 track EP. The production notes some pretty impressive names such as the likes of The Alchemist, Thelonious Martin, Flying Lotus and more! Odd Future have a new project coming up this year anyway, but this should tide you over until then. Download - here! What do you guys think? Let us know in the comments!Neak - Big Dreamer ft. NidaNasheeda
This record focuses on the fear of failing when it comes to our goals in life, and fighting tooth and nail to survive life's ills.
If your father performed alongside Funk & Soul legends like James Brown & Sam Cooke, and your older sibling was deep into Hip-Hop production, chances are being a product of your environment meant only one thing… Following the path his family set before him, Chicago-based Hip-Hop artist Neak draws vivid verbal portraits which find inspiration in the spirit of 1980’s Hip-Hop & U.S. culture. The “War on Drugs,” failing Reaganomics, and increasing violence within poverty stricken areas only strengthened the resolve of the then fledgling Hip-Hop movement, and it’s this concept of perseverance and reclamation that guides Neak’s artistry.
Since 2010, Neak has released two volumes in his ’84 mixtape series (8000 total downloads), both of which are hailed as “underground classic[s] with an electric/soulful feeling, and rooted in the core of hip-hop." Currently Neak is fresh off a release of his newest project "Neak Rock," a Pete Rock tribute album presented by DJBooth.Net, Fake Shore Drive, Refined Hype, Prefix Mag & YNotMyDream; which has currently reached over 50,000 downloads and counting! Recently fresh from releasing his #illRaps Series (featuring artists such as Slot-A, Pugs Atomz, Sincerely Yours, Mike Schpitz, etc.) He is now currently working on his next project entitled, "Love Greater // The Prequel," with production from Slot-A, INTLMC, Rashid Hadee. This upcoming project will be presented/sponsored by DJBooth.Net, Earmilk, and Prefix Mag.
Naming Nas, Mos Def, Common, Lupe Fiasco, MF Doom, Elzhi, Jay-Z, etc. as his main lyrical influences, Neak preserves the aesthetics of real Hip-Hop; authenticity, originality, excellence all evoke a heartfelt emotion for listeners of his music. Neak is looking to tour in support of his "Love Greater // The Prequel" project; which is scheduled for release early 2012."Artist|| Neak [ twitter.com/#!/Neak_Undefined ] Song|| Big Dreamer Feat.
