Word Above The Street: The Water Tank Project

Water conservation is a big deal and with less than 1% of the fresh water on this planet safe for human consumption, more awareness needs to be raised. Word Above The Street is trying to change that. Their new project, The Water Tank Project, curated by Lisa Dennison, Neville Wakefield and other leaders in the industry, has a plan to wrap 300 of NYC water towers with artwork from some well known artists including Tim Maguire and Mark Sheinkman. After three months in NYC the project plans to travel all over the world to cities like Mumbai and Sydney. Follow the project on Twitter to keep yourself up to date. Maybe next time you leave the water running while brushing your teeth you’ll turn it off. Wishful thinking on our part.
