Nas Announces Release Date

With last week’s VH1’s Behind the Music feature and the success of his latest single, “The Don”, rapper Nas has finally hit us with a release date for his tenth album, Life is Good. Four years after the Queens native last solo project, Untitled, this one is set to be released on July 17^th.  Since his 1994 debut project Illmatic, deemed one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time, Nas has grown into a global icon. With a few unexpected collaborations and his inevitable ability to stay true to his New York hip-hop roots this album is sure to be “everything”. “This is everything that I’ve got to say…I guess you got to live a little, sometimes not all the time, but you’ve got to live a little and you put that in your music and it’s coming from my life;” stated the rapper in a recent interview with MTV back in March. Nas’ next Life is Good single, "Daughters" produced by No I.D., is set to drop May 1.
