Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 E3 2012 Gameplay
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 takes on the future might be the most frightening thing we've seen in years. Instead of cliches like lasers, nukes, space attacks, Treyarch's fifth Call of Duty game presents a world that's different, yet totally amazing and believable. Change is coming to Call of Duty, and Black Ops 2 presents not only an evolution in terms of the technology you'll be playing with, but also in regards to the franchise's storytelling and design.
Multi-player will take place in the 2025 universe, not the past. The combat training system has been revamped for new players. Treyarch's goal is to make Black Ops 2’s multi-player fun to play and fun to watch, with plans to break into the world of E Sports. Activision’s Call of Duty social network, Call of Duty Elite, will be integrated at launch.
Will there be zombies?
Zombies have were confirmed in Treyarch's Announcement Video. "If you like zombies, you're really going to be happy with what we're doing with Black Ops 2. It's our biggest, most ambitious zombies ever."
In a behind the scenes video released at E3 2012, the new zombies map currently titled "The Map" was teased. The preview consisted of development and map building of what appeared to be a 1960s era town that consisted of a diner, bar, and other buildings. One particular building shows portraits of Castro hung up on the walls. The map is said to be, "Bigger than any map we've ever done...with more choices and things to do."
