GoodHood Celebration T-Shirt: Hackney 2012
With only two days to go until the London Olympics 2012, the buzz is growing pretty intense here in England. Outside of all of the official celebrations it’s been nice to see how independent brands are embracing this huge event: one of my personal favourites so far has been the limited edition GoodHood Celebration T-Shirt, featuring a unique twist on the GH Supply logo.
We know rules and regulations on these sort of things are tight, but independently tees are certainly a great way to celebrate London as a vibrant and hugely successful city (plus, the design is a lot nicer than some of the tacky and poorly produced merchandise you’ll find in the city for the same price).
The Hoxton-based GoodHood store has only been open for business since 2007, but it’s online presence has made it one of the foremost websites in the streetwear industry. Inevitably, the Celebration tee has sold ridiculously fast and there’s only XL sizes left – so make sure you cop one now if that works for you.
What other brands and businesses are doing something interesting for the Olympics?
