Little Monsters' Nightmares Come True: Gaga Launches Social Networking Site

Even with over 26 million followers on Twitter, Lady Gaga has recently decided to further her rein over social networks and the Internet as a whole. The ever-eccentric pop songstress pleases Little Monsters everywhere by giving them a home and launching her new social networking platform, aptly titled LittleMonsters.com. Integrating features from the likes of Tumblr, Facebook, Pinterest, and Ticketmaster, the site, of course, is revolved around everything Gaga. After signing up for an account via email, Facebook, or Twitter, fans can comment on media posted on the front page, or head over to the chat rooms and discuss everything from Gaga’s most recently quizzical ensemble to details of her U.S. tour. Members can also create their own profile, adding a photo and information with the family choice of following other Little Monsters on the site. The platform was originally created earlier this year under collaboration with Backplane and Troy Carter, the site’s proclaimed co-founder. Having already had some 180,000 members, Mother Monster’s recent open launch of the site will surely create much traffic and add members at an astronomical rate. According to the Backplane company, there will be other similar sites built around other artists later this year. Be sure to check back at FN for the latest news about whom the next artist may be and share your predictions with us below.
