“Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking.” Well, it’s actually florals (and fireworks) for Fall, Miranda Priestly. The Milan-based line MSGM enlisted director Luca Finotti to direct their Fall/Winter 2012 Look Book film, appropriately titled, “Flowerworks.”
Accompanied by Dusty Kid’s “America” soundtrack, the invigorating film takes the viewers on a visually staccato rollercoaster, starring models Simone Nobili, Quinta Witzel, Samuele Visentin, & Ioana Timoce. The collection itself is rather refreshing, featuring intricate florals & electric graphics splashed upon carefully tailored menswear staples. With vibrant designs like these, I think it’s time guys started infusing lively patterns into their wardrobes, even if it’s just a peak of their shirt collar under a neutral-toned sweater.
