Feature: Odd Couple

Over the weekend I met up with one part of an up-and-coming hip-hop production team Odd Couple, based out of Chicago.  After showing me some of their potential projects in the works and a few of his favorite past collaborations, we ended spending 4 hours talking about New York hip-hop over a few brewskies. Really cool dude. They're doing big things for the Chicago music scene collaborating with Chi-town favorites like King Louie. Now they're getting ready to release a mixtape in the end of this month called "Separated at Birth," and have already slated collaborations with Freeway, XV, Smoke DZA, Emilio Rojas, Skyzoo, King Louie, Mikkey Halsted, and Donny Goines. Judging from their previous work this looks to be a quality release. For now peep this track off the mixtape called "Speak it Vivid" featuring New York rapper Skyzoo, and as always, enjoy.
