Rihanna Covers Harper's Bazaar

August's edition of Harper's Bazaar features one of the biggest pop stars of this generation. Rihanna graces the cover and in the pages to follow opens up about everything from her conservative love life to her now flat cake. The Barbadian bad ass accepts the notion of being revolutionary. She states: (I'm) "rebellious through my music, through my fashion, tattoos, and my hair." However she doesn't follow suite with her love life, which she claims to be "conservative." There have been many speculated flings associated with Rihanna Matt Kemp, Drake, Ashton Kutcher but the "Where Have You Been" singer is quick to deny any such romance. "If I come across someone who I find really cool, I'll hang out. But the minute I find that we’re getting too close I just—I don't let people in." Why is Rihanna so cautious to fall in love? She explicitly alludes to a notorious relationship with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown: "When I was in love, I fell so hard. I was really, really, really in love. The way it made me feel was priceless. And in a blink of an eye my whole life changed. Everything that I knew was different. I never thought I'd feel that pain in my life. I'm afraid of feeling that again." As for the backlash for choosing Brown to collaborate on "Cake Remix" the songstress states "I understood that people had every right to be concerned about it. But I didn't see it that way because I'm in a different place." Speaking of cake, RiRi jokingly spoke about hers "I miss my ass. It just went away! I need a butt. I have an idea of one, but it's not living up to its full potential right now." For more on the interview with Rihanna make sure to check out Harper's Bazaar which hits news stands July 17.
