Bongo Design Contemporary Art & Furniture

Bongo Design is the brainchild of industrial designer, Magdalena Chojnacka. Based out of Cracow, Poland, her designs aim to get you to contemplate and respect the threatened, natural world around us. In each piece, ranging from wall art to modern storage furniture, there is a playful quality that neutralizes the otherwise cold quality of steel as a material component. This is particularly evident in the Steel Fox sculptures found in the Wild Head series. Using steel and geometry, she juxtaposes the wild nature of a fox with the natural order of lines and angles. It is a beautiful mix of order and disorder, nature and industry, beast and civilization.
