Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week: The Scene: Day 1 Spring 2013

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week events provides designers with an international platform to showcase their collections to thousands of industry insiders from around the world, including buyers, retailers, celebrities, VIPs and members of the regional, national and international press. This time around I’ve decided not to focus on the runway itself but rather the atmosphere of attending the show.

If you’ve never been to  a fashion show, stop what you’re doing and add one to your calendar. The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week events gives the patron and party goers the chance to indulge in the life and trends of the ever evolving fashion world. It gives you a sense of “chic” and warmth and sometimes better belonging…

OK I COULDN’T SAY THAT WITH A STRAIGHT FACE… Fashion shows suck ass unless you are there for the free drinks or food.

The truth behind my bitter-sweet sarcasm is that I have only attended shows for a particular purpose. FN

Richard_ChAll those fake-smiles you see on the press, media, public relations, and models attending the events are all really sticker pasties we wear to make it through the countless days of torture.

<<<— Prime Example of those who have to be there but don’t really want to be because this is there 8th one this  month, and they have to write articles and reports about the event they attended.

Anyway don’t let my downer tone take away from the actual enjoyment you get for attending it just as a patron… That you will always enjoy. Check out what Day 1 The Scene at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is really like for someone just there to enjoy.
