Electronic duo, Coyote Kisses releases their Thundercolor EP, The two have been mesmerizing listeners worldwide with their explosive sound and prolific compositional techniques. In a dance music scene where so many producers opt for derivative and formulaic styles, Coyote Kisses are more than just refreshing, they are an inspiration.
Composed of two lifelong friends from Lakeland, Florida, the pair had their first success with “Acid Wolfpack”. The song rose to HypeMachine’s coveted #1 spot on its release date, and was soon picked up for re-release on their debut EP with Burn the Fire Records. The EP soon broke into Beatport’s Top Five Releases after only two days on sale.
CK was soon tapped by Interscope Records to remix Carly Rae Jepsen’s #1 hit, “Call Me Maybe”. In a further show of versatility, they went on to win Mad Decent’s “Titan” remix contest in the fall of 2012. Shortly thereafter they won the popular vote in OWSLA’s “Days to Come” Beatport contest, beating out roughly 1400 other entries. Coyote Kisses are now set to release their highly anticipated sophomore EP, which combines, punk rock, future bass and other influences into a unique electronic concoction. From Deadmau5 to Crystal Method, The Bag Raiders to Baauer, Diplo to Ronald Jenkees, CK has received praise and support for their ingenuity. It’s fair to say the duo has a very bright future ahead of them.
