By now, you have likely heard that Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant has donated $1 Million to the Red Cross to help with the devastation from the Oklahoma tornadoes.
Durant’s donation was not only a great gesture on its own, but it has also acted as a spark to get more athletes and brands to donate, and Nike has stepped up to the plate.
Not only has Nike donated $1 million worth of Nike products to try to make life a little easier for victims who have lost everything, but they have also announced they will donate proceeds from the Oklahoma City KD V Elites to the relief effort.
Sure, they’re not cheap at $180, but if you you have been looking for a fresh new pair of sneakers to wear on the court, or maybe just wear out on the street, here is your chance and/or excuse.
Not only will you be getting a great new pair of Nikes, but you’ll be helping out a great cause.
