Warner Bros. released the total box office gross for the opening of Christoper Nolan’s grand finale to his trio of Batman films. Overshadowed by news of a tragic shooting in Colorado on Saturday, the studio announced the film at a total of 160.9m over the weekend making it the third highest opener behind The Avengers and the second Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows.
