
Death Cab for Cutie
Death Cab For Cutie's upcoming seventh studio album, "Codes and Keys," has been touted as a keyboard-heavy departure from 2008's guitar-driven "Narrow Stairs" an experimental thread of what to expect from the band album's will be aired on the first single, "You Are A Tourist." As announced earlier tuesday morning, DCFC will film while simultaneously airing a live, scripted, one-take music video for "You Are A Tourist." Directed by Tim Nackashi (Radiohead, OK Go). The video announcement is a big welcomed surprise to allot fans seeing as they just premiered the song earlier Monday. Death Cab For Cutie bassist Nick Harmer revealed to Billboard.com earlier this year that "Codes and Keys," out May 31 on Atlantic Records (same recored label that up held Lupe Fiascos much anticipated "Lasers" album) , features a lot of "great, weird, analog synths, and we have a string section on a couple songs." Cant wait till April to see the video.
