So, at this year's Gathering of the Juggalos music festival, something beautiful happened--Danny Brown and Insane Clown Posse's Joseph Bruce and Joseph Utsler, had some bonding time. Music website Noisey brought the three together and the chemistry between them was undeniable (NOTHING like Chief Keef and Childish Gambino's interview). From talking about ICP's battle with the FBI to the hip-hop duo calling Brown the "absolute epitome of new," the interview will definitely be a treat for diehard ICP fans and hipster hip-hop fans alike. Now that Brown has co-signed the Gathering of the Juggalos (he calls it "one of the top festivals in America"), maybe we'll see a lot more people making their way to Illinois for the event. Video: Danny Brown in ‘Hybrid Talk’ mini-doc

Detroit native Danny Brown, known for his quirky rap style and signature snaggledteeth, teamed up with Adidas and Vice for the mini-documentary “Hybrid Talk.” The three part web series delved into the mind of the dynamic up-and-comer, who dished on everything from his personal style and hip-hop ideologies to his workout regimen, specifying how each helps him hone his skills and image as an MC. Hybrid Talk also features guest appearances from other notable Hip-Hop newcomers Childish Gambino, El-P and Killer Mike. Watch Part 2 of the series here and part 3 here.

Childish Gambino – Royalty (Mixtape)

I didn't want to post two mixtapes the day after each other, but this simply had to be posted. Donald Glover, better known as his stage name Childish Gambino has released his latest mixtape following the release of his debut studio album "Camp". The mixtape is extremely polished & has some great features! From Ghostface Killah to Danny Brown, Bun B to Alley Boy, there is even an appearance from his 30 Rock co-star Tina Fey. Overall it's a very polished mixtape, more so than any that I've heard recently. Camp, despite the critics opinion's (*cough* Pitchfork *cough*) was one of my favorite albums of last year, and this just solidifies my respect for Gambino as an artist. You can get the mixtape here. Childish Gambino – Heartbeat

Donald Glover, the actor turned comedian turned rapper has just released the video for the latest single off of his debut album "Camp". The track is titled "Heartbeat", a tale of Donald's ex, who's seeing another man. With Donald's wordplay, we get some, erm interesting shall we say lyrics. Such as... "So we done? This the real sh**? We used to hold hands like field-trips. I'm a jerk, but you're dude is a real di** I read his posts on your wall and I feel sick." I'm a fan of Gambino myself, but I don't think this is a track that showcases his writing ability at his best. On the positive side, it does have a fairly catchy hook, and production which is getting compared to that of Justice. Here's the video - What do you guys think? Of the song & the video?
