SENSE Magazine: MIHARAYASUHIRO 2011

This months SENSE Magazine gives a closer look at some of the upcoming items from MIHARAYASUHIRO’s fall/winter collection. The photo shoot shows off some great layering techniques using the chunky knit wear and oversized outerwear that feature heavily this season. The distressing of garments that we saw last season is once again prevalent, all-be-it in a much more toned down way. Items will be available from all MIHARAYASUHIRO stockists.

Uniforms for the Dedicated 2011 Fall/Winter Collection

Reminding me of the good old days when apparel had some type of indication of the profession you maintain.

Founded in 2007, Uniforms for the Dedicated is on their fifth collection with the announcement of the 2011 Fall/Winter collection. Inspired by an imaginary mission to tailor the perfect apparel line of detective wear, the experimental assemblage includes loose silhouettes consisting of wool and hemp garments, organic jersey, recycled cotton and custom Japanese fabrics. A wide variety of winter parkas, knit blazers and work pants are also in the mix. In conjunction with the collection’s release, additional music releases and film projects are expected to follow.
