JEREMY SCOTT X ADIDAS 2011 PREVIEW

Jeremy Scott hit his twitter feed hard yesterday morning serving up a tasty teaser of the goodness that is about to bombard us via his adidas ObyO collection. While he stays true to his fetish for animal fur, Jeremy also flips the script designing some edgier goth-like pieces, skittle-coloured running suits, camo tops, and bullet-proof trackies, proving yet again that there are no boundaries when it comes to a Scott creation.

The Force is Strong with Adidas (sneaker recap)

Can only one ray of light save the universe?.....well depends if the person wielding the ray wears Adidas. The almighty force is with the three striped one again here's a preview of the forthcoming Star Wars Adidas footwear range due for release through out this year. The collection is broken into two parts the ‘Select Pack' and the 'Direct Pack'. The 'Select Pack' is closely modeled on characters from the original 1977 20th Century Fox film franchise that stared Alec Guinness as Obi Wan Kenobi and Harrison Ford as Han Solo and the ‘Direct Pack' fuses the Star Wars universe with this eras modern Pop and Sports icons. Does that mean you can expect Micheal Jordan wielding a light saber design fat chance, does that mean Micheal Jackson and Lady Gaga will be dressed up as Jedis fighting Darth Bieber I highly doubt that too; but you can look forward to some amazing designs. Highlights include a AT-AT Pilot El Dorado with a jumbo tongue similar to the Jeremy Scott Mickeys; a vividly detailed Skyline with the urban skyline replaced by an illustration of the Imperial planet Coruscant; and a deathly dark ZX-8000 with crackling energy beams on the midsole representing Emperor Palpatine. There's also a nod to the Imperial Guard, a rasta Boba Fett mash up, plus some Ewing inspired Storm Trooper ballers.

JEREMY SCOTT X ADIDAS PANDA BEAR

We've seen Jeremy Scott's plush new panda pals grace his toes at his NY Fashion Week runway event and more recently at his Paris ObyO showcase. Now comes a closer look at one of the true cult releases of 2011.Honestly haters will keep on hating so fuck there thoughts nobody really cares, but in an increasingly stale conservative boring marketplace Jeremy Scott's screwy humour and oddball creations are a breath of fresh air from the plain bland designs Iv'e been forced to indulge in recently from such brands as Nike and Jordan. No firm release date yet on these oh so hot commodities, but with the pink and brown JS Bears only just hitting shelves it might be a few months yet before these are up for grabs.
