I really can't figure out our culture, I mean from a failing music industry that idolizes corporate teenage bull shit music from adolescent Disney stars to a terrible played out fashion industry. Like am I the only person who gets depressed when they go shoe shopping? Its like the creativity and passion for a culture we're forced to represent isn't there anymore, everything is just so bland boring and just "safe", no ones trying to break these designing restrictions that these corporate overseers have placed on us. I don't know if these sneaker designers are going through emotional problems that are effecting there work but if so they need to smoke one with Wiz khalifa and get in touch with them selves and gain some damn inspiration, from boring color schemes and just god awful designs American sneaker companies need to go through a modern
Sneaker Renaissance Era and get back in touch with there roots. Hopefully Nikes Air Flow will start a much needed sneaker social revolution. Hot on the heels of the new Lunar Flow, Nike have dusted off the shoe it was modeled on, the groundbreaking Air Flow from 1989, sigh i wasnt born yet but those late 80s designs were my favorites. Twenty-two years on, this neoprene pioneer returns in the eye-catching lime green and electric blue makeup. Grandaddy to the the Air Presto and Air Huarache, this trailblazer is set for a Spring return. Best believe they will be gracing my pretty toes when they come out.
