Neak - Big Dreamer ft. NidaNasheeda

This record focuses on the fear of failing when it comes to our goals in life, and fighting tooth and nail to survive life's ills.

If your father performed alongside Funk & Soul legends like James Brown & Sam Cooke, and your older sibling was deep into Hip-Hop production, chances are being a product of your environment meant only one thing… Following the path his family set before him, Chicago-based Hip-Hop artist Neak draws vivid verbal portraits which find inspiration in the spirit of 1980’s Hip-Hop & U.S. culture. The “War on Drugs,” failing Reaganomics, and increasing violence within poverty stricken areas only strengthened the resolve of the then fledgling Hip-Hop movement, and it’s this concept of perseverance and reclamation that guides Neak’s artistry.

Neak

Since 2010, Neak has released two volumes in his ’84 mixtape series (8000 total downloads), both of which are hailed as “underground classic[s] with an electric/soulful feeling, and rooted in the core of hip-hop." Currently Neak is fresh off a release of his newest project "Neak Rock," a Pete Rock tribute album presented by DJBooth.Net, Fake Shore Drive, Refined Hype, Prefix Mag & YNotMyDream; which has currently reached over 50,000 downloads and counting! Recently fresh from releasing his #illRaps Series (featuring artists such as Slot-A, Pugs Atomz, Sincerely Yours, Mike Schpitz, etc.) He is now currently working on his next project entitled, "Love Greater // The Prequel," with production from Slot-A, INTLMC, Rashid Hadee. The Knocks ft. Mandy Lee - Midnight City (M83 Cover)

Man I simply love my New York brothers  Ben “B-Roc” Ruttner and James “Jpatt” Patterson also known as The Knocks. Covering a song as universally adored as M83′s sublime “Midnight City” is risky business but my dudes did it amazingly. Joined here by vocalist Mandy Lee, they  manage to lovingly recreate the night driving anthem and dress it in new, disco-bound clothes. The original is by no means a stranger to the dance floor, but with their cover, The Knocks make it that much easier to play “Midnight City” at your next glow stick bonfire drum circle-appropriate event. Rihanna x Britney Spears collab!

Rihanna wants to ‘spank’ Britney Spears in the video for their song. OH MY! catholic school boy classic fantasy wish they both would spank me, but enough with the sexual desires. The two mega pop superstars have teamed up for a remix of Rihanna’s raunchy hit single S&M and the Rude Boy singer insists she wants the promo to be as racy as the track’s lyrics. Read more

"At a time where radio is dominated by huge hits from Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Britney, and Pink, it's impressive to see a new artist like Jessie J cut through." — Sharon Dastur of Z100

Its The Cataracs

Its The Cataracs

Its The Cataracs

Berkley , California indie-pop hip hop natives the Cataracs have been on a steady rise to fame since producing last summers party banger "like a g6" with Far East Movement. Seem like the white boys are back with a new video to last decembers party club favorite "top of the world". The video features the oh so fucking sexy ultra fabulous Dev providing the vocals for the songs chorus, she's like really super hot in this video (sn: i'm going to ask her to marry me and have my kids). The video is really cool and amazing and resembles something straight out a horny high school teenagers fantasy, oh yeah straight brunette on brunette action; but still give it a try the Cataracs is an alternative Hip-Hop duo I'd represent and support any time any day.
