Although Tyler, The Creator already confirmed that they had nothing to do with the video that popped up this morning for Earl Sweatshirt’s “Pigeons,” we dig it. Read more
By now, it’s safe to say that we’ve all heard the rumors circulating through user-created media that ties some of music’s biggest names to presumed occult teachings of Freemasonry and a secret society of mass authority, the Illuminati. Read more
FLyLo releases another fire track this week, this time collaborating with Odd Future’s Earl Sweatshirt and new-comer emcee Captain Murphy. After all the media hype surrounding Frank Ocean over the past week or so, some of us may have forgotten that his debut album “Channel Orange”, one of the most anticipated releases of the year is due out this coming Monday. However, Billboard, just moments ago confirmed that the album is now available on iTunes.

From his sartorial sensibilities to the front-porch feel of his music, it is clear that Frank Ocean extracts his muse from an organic place. He embodies a peculiar calm that is free of genre and cannot be ignored. However, these notes merely scratch the surface of who Ocean is, not only as an artist, but also as a symbol for challenging traditional, unevaluated thought via his creative discretion and sincerity. Fresh off his performance at Coachella, we get the official video for Frank Ocean's single "Thinking About You". This visual has Frank playing the role of a nurse watching over a sick woman. The video is open to interpretation. For now, you can watch the music video via Island DefJam.
Yes, more Odd Future. I know it feels like the hype will never stop, but, hey, we haven't heard much from Frank in a while.
Frank has done many gigs over the last few years, but, Coachella is one of his biggest to date. People were wondering how he'd cope with the larger stage. Whilst the set was strong (it even has a Bob Dylan cover) I can't help but feel that Frank needs to work on his stage presence a bit more. He's still young though, a few more years and I reckon he'll cope with huge crowds just fine.
He's backed by Odd Future friend's BadBadNotGood, the Jazz trio who have been getting a lot of attention recently & they help compliment Frank's voice well.

I found this rather hilarious, & thought it was worth a share. Seeing as the OF hype doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon, BBC Newsnight sat down with a few members of OF (including Tyler) to discuss their antics on their trip around Britain.
The interviews touch on typical topics such as their explicit lyrics, but wait for the presenter's entrance into one of their pop-up shops & see his reaction.
I wouldn't say the OF obsession is as ripe over here in the UK, so I thought it was rather interesting that the BBC of all people set up an interview with them.
Either way, check it out above & let us know what you think in the comments!
For those few of you that missed it, Odd Future's Loiter Squad's first episode is now available on YouTube for your viewing pleasure!

After every hip-hop head, hipster & music critic has had enough time to put forward their opinion on the album, they all seem to agree on one thing. The album closer, "Oldie" which verges on 10 minutes, is pretty damn awesome.
Featuring the whole OF crew & a rather mellow beat, they crafted an intense piece of hip-hop.
Whilst on the set of their recent Terry Richardson photoshoot, the group made an impromptu video to go along with the track, one in which their personalities can help their verses, well, to some extent.

Odd Future have gone and dropped their trailer for their sketch shown Loiter Crew. This is after the rather hilarious outtakes that have been floating around YouTube the past couple of days.
The show is being hosted by Adult-Swim, and features most of Odd Future's crew (although strangely no Left Brain) and is predicted to be a success. It is already getting comparisons to Jackass, but whether or not their crazy personalities shine through or not is another question.
Here's the trailer -
