The Nike Special Field Boot looks tough. It’s inspired by every day heroes like first responders and military personnel. But the SFB doesn’t stop at inspiration. It really is a high-performance boot. For starters, it’s two-thirds the weight of a traditional boot, with a men’s size 9 weighing only 15.9 ounces. A quick-drying synthetic leather overlay, along with multiple ventilation zones make for a boot that can be worn in any type of weather. In other words, you can jump directly into a puddle and probably get away with it. The design is built for comfort, too, with a genuine leather foot bed and Nike Free-like outsole.
