Pocket Watches

iPocketwatch

The digital era of watches is not gonna come to halt with the advent of smartphones and tablets. Steve Jobs himself started the trend of using gadgets as your dedicated time telling device. The result of which is the popular iPod Nano that is worn with on the wrist with a dedicated accessory or strap to hold the device along with its built in clock interface. The whole concept has now taken off and Australian designer by the name of  Edwin Conan took the entire thing in a different direction. Instead of wearing the iPod Nano on the wrist, he went further back in time, by allowing us to wear it as a pocket watch. The snapshot shown is a prototype of what is to become the iPocketwatch. Conan had set a goal to raise around $6,385 USD to kick start this new concept. Currently, the fund raiser is already halfway through. If you would like to make a donation, head on to the Pozible to learn more about it. We hope to see this new concept become a reality, and judging from the way the fund raiser is going, we will...
