Here is a very special video short, shot by very talented Seth Epstein, as we take a look at what Shawn Stussy has been up to. Narrated by the legend himself, Seth takes us on a voyage through Shawn Stussy’s S/DOUBLE Studio as he tells us about his present state of mind, going back to his grass roots of what started the Stussy empire, by creating surf boards again. While mentioning one of his latest ventures into opening a surf board gallery in Tokyo in April, we are left with beautiful documentation of Shawn shaping a board giving a brief, yet detailed explanation on his current inspiration in creating boards. Hopefully this is just one of few videos from Seth Epstein.

The Stussy Spring 2012 collection includes a series of t-shirts by Dutch artist Parra. Parra is best known for his curved post-Pop imagery, highly saturated colors, vibrant hand-drawn letters and worlds inhabited by hybrid, surreal characters. Celebrated by galleries and championed by an underground following from the outset, Parra has quickly become a respected and eclectic artist worldwide. Working across drawing, painting, animation and sculpture, Parra creates an enigmatic and instantly recognizable style that defies easy categorization. Parra is co-founder of cult apparel label Rockwell Clothing and a member of electronic music collective Le Le.
